• 花秀直播 MATH FIELD DAY PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT

The 花秀直播 Math Field Day Program involves a series of training sessions and culminating events sponsored by the 花秀直播 Unified School District. One of the program’s objectives is to prepare a select group of elementary and middle school students for competition in the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Math Field Day event to be held on TBD. Another objective is to provide a more inclusive 花秀直播 Math Tournament for students in grades 3-8, on TBD.

Both of these events involve half day activities of team and individual competition among elementary and middle school students. Students compete in the following areas:

    • Conceptual Understanding
    • Problem Solving
    • Computational/Procedural Skills

Within the context of this training and competition program, students are given math problems consistent with the California Standards currently being taught in their respective math classes.  All 花秀直播 students (grades 3-8) who have participated in the Math Field Day Training Program are eligible to attend the 花秀直播 Math Tournament.  Teams of four students per grade level (grades 4-8) will be selected to attend the LACOE Math Field Day.
